Skye and Partick contacted me late in the game (just 2 months before the wedding), and I am so glad that they did and that I had their date available. What a sweet couple! They met just over 3 years ago while Skye was still a college student. As a student, she made many trips to Office Max, where Patrick was the manager. They caught each other's eye and the rest is history. A few dozen trips to Office Max later (plus 3 more years of life together) and they are ready to tie the knot. Patrick now works for FedEx and they will be married late next month in Bradley, California. I am so excited to photograph this lovely couple again next month!
We started out at the beginning of the Jim Green Trail and worked our way inward.
They were total naturals. They made my job easy.
Skye even had some beautiful flowers for the occasion. I LOVED the idea!
I don't usually get photos of just the engagement ring, but since we had the flowers, it was the perfect opportunity.
They are so easy going and I had a lot of fun with them.
I first met Heather and Craig at their engagement session. They live in Northern California, but since they are having there wedding here on the Central Coast, they wanted to come back for their engagement session. They have got to be the cutest high school sweethearts ever! Craig was a little apprehensive going into the photo shoot, but he quickly loosened up and we all had a great time! I am so excited for their wedding coming up later this year. Since my birthday is the same day as their wedding, I'll get to spend my whole birthday with this amazing couple! I'm so excited!
I love being a homesteading mom. I love animals and I love giving them a good life. We have a senior cat (she's 17 now), a disabled dog who's hind end has never worked right, 13 chickens and now 4 goats. Until recently, we only had 2 goats, but as soon as we got home from a vacation in Minnesota, we had 2 new ADORABLE additions to the family. Let me introduce to you our newest kids (in case you didn't know, baby goats are called kids). We won't be officially naming these ones since we will be selling them once they are old enough, but my daughter has named them Beauty and Fluffy. Are these not the cutest things you ever did see?
We have 2 does and are expecting another 2 or 3 kids from the other doe in the next week or so. I can hardly wait to meet them and watch them frolic and hop as only a clumsy baby goat can do. They are seriously some of the cutest things I have ever seen and I feel so fortunate to be able to experience the cuteness and shower love on these adorable creatures.
